El rol de las mujeres en la participación de programas de licenciatura

Las mujeres jóvenes en los países de la OCDE ahora a menudo obtienen más educación que los hombres jóvenes, pero siguen teniendo menos probabilidades de estudiar en los lucrativos campos de la ciencia, la tecnología, la ingeniería y las matemáticas.

Según un estudio del 2014 de la OCDE, la participación femenina de graduados de programas de licenciatura ha mejorado con el tiempo, pero está lejos de ser equitativa en comparación con los hombres. 

La economía, la educación y las políticas públicas están en constante cambios, al igual que las políticas de género, posicionándose hoy en día en la palestra de las demandas ciudadanas en algunos países. 

Los países europeos como Suecia, Letonia, Noruega, República de Checa y Eslovaquia, junto con Costa Rica y Sudáfrica van a la cabeza del desarrollo educativo en las mujeres. Mientras China, Turquía, India y Suiza están en los penúltimos lugares, siendo además, Alemania y Japón la peor evaluación. 

Pareciera ver que en los países Europeos las reflexiones se están teniendo y los cambios se están impulsando, en tanto que en países Asiáticos el desarrollo es más paulatino. Sin embargo, actualmente,  existen lugares donde la desigualdad de posibilidades entre hombres y mujeres en temas de educación, empleo, estereotipos y brecha salarial no se ha planteado ni se piensa hacer aún.

I am going to talk about a media o journalist that I admire. Well where in Chile journalism sucks, most of the media are colluded to the big industry and selling information and realities. All thought, there are some internet media that are more ethical and honest.

Monica Rincón was born on 17 dicembre of 1975, she is one of the most important journalist in Chile.  She started as a reporter in Canal 13, then she leads “La Mañana Informativa”  in 24 horas.

What I like about her is the courage, intelligence and passion of every informative notes that she made, the focus and emphasis that she put in all her news.

One of my favorites news sides, and the one that I read every morning, is “El Mostrado”.
I get very angry when there are mistakes of writing or inappropriate headline. This media have some respect for the journalism and its role in the construction of a democratic society

Movies

Hello my bloggers, so glad to be here with you again, today I am going to talk about my favorite movies.

The top one is obviously Harry Potter, best saga ever, the first time that I saw the movie I was 8 years old, now I have 21 years old and I am still watching it. I love the world that J. K. Rowling have created, the way the characters are growing in the movie.
 I love musical movies so my second favorite movie is Pitch Perfect. I know all the songs and choreography, also have it in my Spotify playlist, but I’m disappointed of Pitch Perfect 2, so don’t see it, just see the first one.  

I have a thing for vampires, so obviously Twilight is one of my favorites. I was in love with Taylor Lautner until 18 years old, I know, pathetic…  Also I always wanted for a werewolf and a vampire to fight for me, yeah still not happened.

A photograph you like

This picture was taken on May 3, 2018. I don’t remember who took it, maybe it was a classmate from journalism or cinema, but I remember everything of that moment.

It was the day that all the women of the university decided to organize and talk about how they felt in their places of study. We were locked talking in the auditorium for four hours, it was exhausting, intense and beautiful.
 I like this photo because it reminds me the first period of the feminist mobilization, when we were novices, with all the energy of the world, thinking that everything is possible and that we can change the patriarchal system.
It also reminds me that in that moment we were all strangers. We had all seen each other in the corridors of the university but we were not friends, even someone had never talked to each other, and now in this moment we all are close and even friends.
 

And I think that is what I like most about this photo, that now I look at it and I see my sisters, partners, extraordinary women who taught me for weeks what is love between ladies and value us as the women we are.

Bread and Roses

Today in my english class we saw Bread and Roses released in 2000. I like the film very much because it talks about revolution and how the people organized for their rights. My favorite character is Maya, she is an empowered woman, a believer, a fighter and also a good friend.

The part that I like most is when Ela teaches Maya how to use the vacuum and they dance and laugh a lot. It is a scene that shows friendship and empathy. There are a lot of parts of the movie that I didn’t like, but I think it was the purpose. For example, the part when the boss Perez asks Maya to fit her work clothes and when he fired the old woman because she was late.

My favorite scene is definitely is when Rosa told Maya about the job that she used to have to feed her family, not because it is a beautiful scene or the best job in the world, it is because it shows reality and how the world works.

My favorite electronic device

My favorite electronic device is the microwave. It is amazing the fact that you could warm your food over and over again and save some time and energy. Years ago people have to wait a lot of time for dinner and now it takes maximum ten minutes.
In my house for many years we did not have a microwave and we had to heat our food in the food pan or in the oven, and I was always hurried or exhausted, so I hated it. When my mom bought it for the first time I was extremely happy and hoping that now I could save some time in the mornings and the dinners, and it did. Some time ago my kettle stop working, I never figured out why, and I did not know what to do, because I could not survive the day without my morning coffe. So I had the brilliant idea of ​​heating the water in the microwave, and that was the moment that I realized that the microwave was my favorite electronic device, because resolved my life and time.

Toña´s biography

My name is Antonia González i´m 20 years old. I was born in Santiago de Chile in 1997. I used to lived with my mom, my sister and my stepfather, but i decided to leave because i didn't feel comfortable. In this moment of my life i'm having a gypsy life. I study journalism in University of Chile, i love my career, the frinds that i made here and the university. I´m also General Secrety of the Student Center and have a radial program calls Copadas.
My family is very difficult to understand. I have two brothers and tree sisters, one stepfather and one stepmother, and everyone lives where they want, nevertheless we are very clouse.
I am a person who has very little time, but when i find some time i like to see series, spend time with my bestfriends, paint my nails and ask myself what the fuck i'm doing with my life.
